Enchanted Forest – October 28th, 2017

The Glenview New Church School presents the Enchanted Forest. This is a Halloween event designed to encourage the celebration of the imagination and of Halloween without the imagery of fear and grotesque symbolism that can sometimes thread through the holiday. We are setting up a series of connected play rooms, with each playroom featuring a different theme surrounding fairy tales or children’s stories (like Sleeping Beauty, the Jungle Book, or Bob the Builder.) Each room will have toys and games to play with following that room’s theme. Belle from Beauty and the Beast and Ariel from the Little Mermaid will also be there, performing some of their favorite songs as well as playing with kids in each of the rooms.

Winter Wonderland – January 27th, 2018

The Glenview New Church School is putting on fantastical winter wonderland event for young children on Saturday February 11th from 9:30 am – 11:30 am.  This will be an event with building blocks, sensory tables, bouncy castle, car tracks, and singing performances by two princesses from beloved fairy tales.  Please invite your friends and family with young children.  This is a free event if you get your tickets in advance, or $3 per person at the door the day of the event.
We are also looking for volunteers to help out with the event on February 11th from 9 am – 12 pm, playing with children in the different activity centers, helping with face painting or taking tickets at the door.  If you would like to help, please contact Kendra Paraskevopoulos at .
