Community Events

The Glenview New Church School is proud of our Community Events we offer to the greater Glenview Community.  Our events attract over a thousand people a year to take part in our family-oriented, safe, wholesome events.  Please see the details below for information about our individual community events.

Winter Wonderland – February 2nd, 2019

The Glenview New Church School is putting on a fantastical winter wonderland event for young children on Saturday February 2nd from 9:30 am – 11:30 am.  This will be an event with building blocks, sensory tables, bouncy castle, car tracks, and a singing performance by Jeanie B!.  Please invite your friends and family with young children.  This is a free event if you get your tickets in advance, or $3 per person at the door the day of the event.
We are also looking for volunteers to help out with the event on February 2nd from 9 am – 12 pm, playing with children in the different activity centers, helping with face painting or taking tickets at the door.  If you would like to help, please contact Kendra Paraskevopoulos at .

Easter Egg Hunt – April 20th, 2019

There are two different Easter Egg Hunts this year at GNCS.  Please purchase tickets for children attending only – adults are free.   This event is open to the greater Glenview community.  We offer a discounted price to church and school families when tickets are purchased in advance.  Tickets are $10 for the general public and $5 for church and school families if bought in advance.

9 am Toddling Tots Easter Egg Hunt: For 1 – 4 years old.  This early egg hunt was created to meet the needs of our younger hunters in training, to make it less overwhelming and enjoyable for parents and young ones. The Toddling Tots Hunt is done with EMPTY EGGS to avoid any choking hazzards, and each child can turn in his or her LOT of collected eggs for ONE single toy.  Over 1,000 eggs are hidden on a 3 acre field. The field is across the street from 74 Park Drive, next to the large play ground. Kids ages 1 – 4 are not required to come to this hunt, they can opt into the 10:30 am hunt – but please purchase the correct ticket.

10:30 am Traditional Easter Egg Hunt:  For 1 – 14 years old.  ALL eggs will contain candy.  Over 8,000 eggs are hidden on 15 acres of the school’s campus (the inside circle). Grand Prize Golden eggs are hidden along with the rest of the eggs that can be turned in for prizes. A raffle well be held. A magician will give a show!  Snacks will be included!

Please arrive early to get checked in and pick up your easter egg hunting bags
