MOPS: Mothers of Young Children

Our MOPS program is temporarily paused during Covid-19 precautions. We will meet again as soon as it is safe and responsible to do so, following IDPH guidelines. Check back frequently to this website for updates on a return date for our meetings. We would love to see you when we are all able to gather! Read below to learn more about the program…

Come join other neighborhood moms at our new MOPS group held at Glenview New Church School. MOPS, or Mothers Of Preschoolers (or young ones), is a nationally supported organization that gathers moms to support each other through the journey of motherhood.

Our gatherings are where moms can meet to share their hopes, fears and insights, in a format that works with their schedules. So, whether you are a soon-to-be mom, first-time mom or seventh-time mom, you are welcome here.

After Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted and IDPH deems it safe to meet: We will meet the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month at Glenview New Church School from 10-11:30. MOPS runs during the school year from September through May (). Expect relevant topics and discussion starters and social time with other moms to build friendships and support networks. Cost is $80 per semester or $150 for the entire year.  The cost of registering includes MOPS membership, childcare, activities for tots, and snacks.  Please register here:

Our group is always looking for volunteers to help with childcare for the moms, please reach out to  if you would like to volunteer.
